I started a food journal today, because over the course of two weeks I have put on some unwanted pounds. I started the journal so that I could be more mindful of what it is I am eating, and being additionally mindful to eat what produces a desired outcome. I can't expect to eat cupcakes, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and still expect to receive the hour glass shape I'd like to have.
This got me to thinking, we produce what we have on the outside based on what we have going on in the inside. If we feel crappy and angry at others, down on ourselves or hopeless we can begin influencing our futures in a way we wouldn't necessarily want. What I mean is, everything stems from something else. We are like a trees, we can produce branches that will produce multiple types of succulent and delicious fruit. We pull from the sunlight to nourish ourselves, but there are some trees who also received supplemental food, that plays a roll in a bigger stronger tree. This is like who we are. We are spiritual beings and we feed off of our spiritual creator, but we also must supplement our spiritual nourishment with positive conversations and positive activity, which are physical attributes. We must remember that we are here to interact as one. We are spirit and we are human, so we must be mindful to stay balanced. When I say "positive activity" I am referring to activity that brings you good joy in your heart. A feeling that can't be forged. Something that makes you feel connected and in good standing with your creator. When I say" balanced"' i mean you feel your heart with equal parts good vibration activity, and positive surroundings. You can feel good spiritually all day, but if you come in contact with something negative and disturbing your spirit will feel the blows as well, and the balance will be off. It can be as simple as this. A friend of yours starts trying to wheel you into a conversation that includes hating on someone else. You fall into the conversation because it feels so tempting. By doing this you are feeding your spirit negative conversation. As life evolves you may begin to wonder why you are not getting the outcomes you desire, unknowingly sabotaging yourself from achieving your desires. This is what I did with the type of foods I've been nibbling on lately. Lot's of sugary treats that I know when taken in excessively can produce fat cells that will attach themselves to all the places i don't want them to be. Same with life, all the jacked up circumstances and situations will attach themselves to our lives because of how we feel on the inside. So maybe I should start a mental spiritual journal as well as a food journal. When I catch my self nibbling on madness I will refrain from ingesting. In life we produce the seeds we plant, it's up to us to choose the seeds or our choice.
