So you made it, you are finally at the part in your life, where you realize that you want more out of it. You have passion and desires and now you are ready to persue your dreams. It feels so good, your level of excitment, happiness and overall joy. If you felt like this all the time, you'd never have a bad day. Unfortunately for all of us, staying in this happy space 100% of the time is hardly the case, but for what ever it's worth it feels really good right now. Well more so it feels good in the moments where your emotional fire with flickering flames of every color are joyfully creating. It all ends the minute you are jolted out of your feel good moment by someone who is basically a loaded water hydrant hose in your life.
Let's use a visual so that this analogy really sinks in. Use your imagination with this, because this is going to be all kinds of fun. I want you to relax for a moment, exhale out all the yuckies, and long breath inhale all the yummies. If you really want to feel good before we start this exercise, take your right thumb and cover your right nostril. While your right nostril is covered, exhale out of your left nostril, then cover up your left nostril releasing your thumb from the right and inhale through the right for about 6 seconds then exhale out the right for about 6 seconds, continuing with inhale/exhale in one nostril, and then the other. This will really set the mood. Okay, so if you are ready to begin then let us continue. I want you to imagine that you are a cartoon character living in a cartoon world. You are walking down a beautiful cartoon street with beautiful cartoon homes, well manicured cartoon lawns, and well kept cartoon cars in the drive way. The day is sunny and bright, and the sun is round fat and yellow with a big happy face on it, beaming down on you and feeding you a happy flame. Happy Flames, are the fires that are good for us. The fires we cook with, or the fires we stay warm with or create energy on earth with. Your entire being is a walking talking flame. This is what you look like, you look like a happy flame that is walking down the street, skipping a beat and just so happy to be of excellent service to someone in life, and yourself. Your name is brilliant and you are ready to live up to that name. You know exactly what you want to contribute to this world and you are on your way to let your flame flicker with joy. La, la, la, la, la THEN all of a sudden that cartooned water hydrant, who is always there is looking at you with disgust. It's a talking cartoon water hydrant. As you blaze willingly down the street toward your destination, the Talking Water Hydrant says to himself, "Look at this pathetic little unrealistic fool. He should do something with his life. Neighborhoods are always looking for good fire hydrants to man corners. It's not so bad....."Hey Brilliant, you think you are so smart don't you? you think you got it all figured out, don't you? Let me just bring you back to reality, your living in a make believe world. You need to start being realistic and stop living in the clouds." In that very moment, in that instant your good feeling, feels threatened. You stop your happy skip, and you stand still to hear more of what the hydrant is saying. It's almost like a magnet of distruction. You can't seem to pull away from your unwanted engagement with the Talking Water Hydrant. You actually tune in to take in his unsolicited two cents, which really is two cents, because after his long hard day in the sun, and he pays all of his bill and lives his safe realistic life, that's about how much they have left at the end of the day TWO CENTS. The more the Water Hydrant talks, it begins to assemble it's hose. As it's asembling it's hose, you take your opportunity to defend your position. In this cartoon story you have just joined a network marketing company with a great compensation plan, and you know the produt is amazing, and that you will get lots of customers, and make lots of money building an organization. You say to the hydrant, "Network Marketing is a real busines", but before you can even finish the water hydrant has already been loaded with the best amunition possible to knock some sense into you. Besides, he's heard these defense lines time and time again, the times he had to bring someone else back to reality. It's what he does for a living here in your cartoon world. He already knowa exactly what you are going to say, and the Hydrant says...."It's not a real business. It's just a pyramid" You know exactly how you are going to respond to that line. You heard something cleaver recently and you are going to use it as fighting words. You say, " This is not a pyramid, your job is a pyramid, you have a CEO and Management, and Employees who will never make as much as the guy on top, the only difference is I will control my own income, and not someone else tell me what my time is worth". As you are saying these words from your flaming mouth, your flicker is not as bold and beautiful as it was before you started talking to the Hydrant. In fact you don't really feel that unstoppable right now, and there's not skip in your step. You feel like you need to protect your flame before it dies, not realizing that you are playing a part in the die down of your own flame, that can be more destructive then the Hydrant. Then it happens. The Hydrant is fully assembled and it's heard your pathetic come backs and without so much of blink, as if the Hydrant was Quick Draw Mcgraw you are being doused out. You left a little room for doubt and that's all the hydrant needed to see. Fire is strong and powerful. Fire knows that it's untouchable literally, there is no doubt when it comes to being a fire. Fire is the most confident thing around. People are told all the time not to play with fire, so fire already knows it's got nothing to fear, but fear itself. Well fear is hear, in this moment fear has appeared and becaue a doubtful flame will never flicker with delight, you are put out. The Water Hydrant has doused you. As the water hydrant continues to spray where your cartooned flame use to be, all the brilliant color of your cartoon has been washed away and lays like swirly paint in a water puddle on the ground. Your vision is much different now. Life has become dull again. Everything goes back to how it was before you felt really good. You are not a cartoon flame anymore, you are a human, living in a human world, where humans forgot how to think big because they long for the convenience of safety. As your colored world melts away and into the storm drains, the water hydrant is still there and feels satisfaction. The Hydrant is so happy it was able to bring you back to real life. He feels like he saved you. Now that you see the world in real time, you are not so excited about your desires anymore. You feel blah, and you feel disappointed. You thought people would be happy for you. It's like if you are 35 years old, and spent your entire life in prison. Should not the other prisinors congratulate your release. They know they want it to, but there time has not come up yet. They still have to wait, not knowing that they are really in control of their release date for forsome reason they stay resisting their very freedom. You go on about your life doubting yourself and losing site of your cartoon dream. You make yourself comply with the norm and you become fearful of ever moving in that direction again. You even lie to yourself, and take on the belief that the idea of working for yourself is a ridiculous one. Everytime you talk yourself out of being good, doing good and having good. The process of coming back to reality did not feel good at all. All you can do now is second guess yourself. You are unaware that your flame, although no longer as brilliant as it was, never went all the way out. Your fire can never be completely done. Well it can be done in this realm, when it leaves your body to go to the next realm. Even if you died in this very moment, your flame still flckers , but in this real time as you live and breathe, your fire which is your energy can never be competely put out. It's connected to a very divine source. You can always get back to where you were. You can always rebuild your flame. You don't know that though, actually you do know this but you just forgot. You feel stuck for life. Infact you have given up on this earth so much, that you spend your time thinking about how great heaven is with it's pearly gates and golden sidewalks. "Things may suck now, but that's because I'm on earth and life is suppose to suck on earth, it's part of our test into heaven. I'm going to just do right so I can make sure I go to heaven, because this life is hell enough" Your flame is flickering on low and desperately wanting to grow into a healthy strong fire, but you won't let it. You are scared too. You did not like the way it felt when you got dowsed by the Hydrant, and the triip back to reality is enough to drive a sane person crazy. You want to play safe now. Anytime you start to feel that good feeling that makes you the brilliant person that you are you squash the yummie with yuckies again. I'm here to tell you to pick up those colors and create your world again, the way you want it, and if you had a clue in the world your new vision will be hydrant free. If any other destructive thinking shows up in your life, look up at the Source of your flame and keep moving toward your desire. Press go, collect all the money your want and don't stop for any thing that will ditract you from what you want.
